hello all. i'm midnight, and i'm a solitary practitioner to nocturnal Witchcraft. i celebrate and absorb the energies of the shadows, and embrace the God and Goddess of Night. i, however, do NOT turn my back to nature, love, or even day. i am a happy person doing good magick, i just prefer darkness and solitude. Wiccan, while traditionally practiced in covens, is fully able to be followed alone. this is my relationship with the God and Goddess, it is how i feel safe and complete and loved and connected. i self-dedicated myself. i do dabble in workings using one or two trusted Witch friends, but other than that i feel more at peace when i can be alone with Them.

i created this LJ to chronicle the transformation i am going through. i will no doubt leak rants and blow-by-blow explanations of my mundane life as well, so fair warning that this won't be a total grimoire. but for the most part i hope to keep myself in check using this little blog.

my life revolves around the love of my life alaster, foreign languages and cultures, travel, Wiccan and Witchcraft, visual art, reading, writing, OCD cleanliness, and solitude. without these things, i cannot be. oh, and tea! i loveeeeee tea. i'm also a health freak, and while i'm neither a vegetarian nor a strict organic food eater, i tend to dodge eating most meat and i love eating "pure" food.

other than that, i don't know. i'll probably tinker with this more later, but for now that's me. =]
